On April 18, 2015,  Collier County is allowing those citizens who have outstanding traffic tickets, court fines or fees to take advantage of an up to 32% discount if the amount overdue is paid in full.

The discount will only apply to those who have had their traffic ticket, court fine, or other fee assigned to a collection agency and allows them to forego the costly collections agency surcharge. The initiative has been dubbed “Operation Green Light” and will serve to help people restore suspended drivers licenses throughout Collier County. Once all outstanding fines and late fees have been paid citizens will be allowed to take the step necessary to restore their driving privileges.

To take advantage of Operation Green Light you can go to the Clerk’s Customer Service Department on the first floor of the main Courthouse at 3315 Tamiami Trail East between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
